2009 LIVESTRONG Challenge

LIVESTRONG Army Ocean County NJ is partnering with Team Down One to participate in the 2009 LIVESTRONG Challenge Philadelphia, PA. Team Down One has been one of the top fundraising teams in the country the last two years raising more than $43,000 to benefit the LAF.

Our mission is to raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) supporting critical programs for cancer research, prevention, survivorship, clinical trials and one day a cure. We raise awareness by recruiting people to join us, holding events and media coverage. We believe that we can be successful, raise funds and awareness while having FUN.

Every year more than 17,000 people participate in the LIVESTRONG Challenge to benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the fight against cancer. Each one of them has a story to tell.
